The Singapore Discovery Centre has four escape rooms. Each one has a different theme, storyline, and atmosphere.
They are recommended for ages 12 and above. Players below 12 should be accompanied by an adult. All four rooms use intense sound effects, strobe lighting, and fog machines. Upper levels are accessible by stairs only. No loose items or food are allowed inside.

The Armoury
Theme: Military quarters with a hidden secret.
The soldiers’ living quarters bear witness to the secret and intimate conversations between soldiers. You and your team must investigate the inexplicable mysteries surrounding the seemingly innocent common military spaces. The nondescript bunk holds a dark and sinister secret.
Warning: Leave the place before it is too late.
The Basement
Theme: Dark underground investigation.
Dark, dank, and hidden from the rest. The Basement is the perfect place to conceal a gruesome tragedy. Someone twisted and depraved lurks below. Your investigation team must navigate the twists and turns before it is too late.
Note: This room uses particularly intense sound and strobe effects. Avoid if anyone has recent surgery, neck or back issues, pregnancy, or high blood pressure.
The Medical Centre
Theme: Abandoned medical facility mystery.
Step inside the Medical Centre where accidents and emergencies are dealt with. This facility holds the answers to unimaginable horrors faced by soldiers during a previous mission. Your team must uncover the mystery before the revelation destroys the last strands of your sanity.
The Research Lab
Theme: Race against time to stop a reactor meltdown.
Time is ticking, and the reactor will blow up in minutes. The contamination has begun. The Head Scientist has vanished under mysterious circumstances. Your team must power down the reactor and uncover her secret before it is too late.
Pricing
Each room costs S$30 per adult and S$24 per child. You pay per room, not per group. Each room takes about one hour.

All four rooms require teamwork. Groups of 4-6 work best. Book in advance, especially on weekends.

The final take
SDC’s escape rooms are a strong reason to visit, especially for groups of teens and adults. The Armoury and The Basement are the most popular choices. If you can only do one, pick the theme that matches your group’s taste.
