How to Get to Former Ford Factory
Former Ford Factory is at 351 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 588192. Hume MRT is the simplest rail option, and the museum is a short uphill walk from Exit 1.

Take the MRT to Hume station and leave through Exit 1. Walk uphill along Upper Bukit Timah Road for about three minutes. The museum sits back from the road in a low white building.
Hume is the nearest and most direct station for the museum.
Hillview and Beauty World are possible alternatives. Both require a bus connection or a longer walk. The National Archives visitor FAQ lists the current options from those stations.
By bus
The visitor information lists services 61M, 67, 75, 170, 171, 173, 178, 184, 961, and 961M on Sundays and public holidays.
Routes and stop names can change. Check a live journey planner on the day.
If you are travelling from another part of Singapore, search for Former Ford Factory as the destination. Avoid relying on an old stop number after a route change.
By car
The entrance to the Former Ford Factory car park is via Upper Bukit Timah Road. Parking is limited, so a space cannot be guaranteed. Arrive early if driving is essential, or use Hume MRT instead.
Do not use old directions that send visitors to Beauty World Centre as the museum car park. That is a separate location and is not the official parking arrangement for Former Ford Factory.
By taxi or ride-hail
Use “Former Ford Factory” or “351 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 588192” as the destination. Ask to be dropped at the museum entrance on Upper Bukit Timah Road.
Accessibility and strollers
Wheelchairs and baby strollers are allowed inside the exhibition. Washroom facilities are available for wheelchair users.
The walk from Hume includes an uphill section. Visitors who need step-free travel should consider a taxi or ride-hail drop-off.

Before you leave
Former Ford Factory opens Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5.30pm. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.
Singapore citizens and permanent residents enter free. Foreign visitors pay S$7.13 after GST.
