About Forest Ramble

Forest Ramble is a nature-themed adventure playground located within Jurong Lake Gardens, on the Lakeside Garden side. It is one of the most popular family features in the gardens, designed to give children a woodland-inspired climbing and play experience without any entry fee.

What to expect

The playground is built around natural materials and nature-themed structures. Children can climb netted rope walls, cross balancing bridges, slide down embedded hillside slides, and explore tunnel-like play structures. The layout is designed to feel like moving through a forest rather than playing on a standard playground. This makes it more engaging for school-age children who want an adventurous outdoor experience.

Forest Ramble works well for children aged 5 to 12. Younger children may find some elements challenging, but there are gentler areas within the playground suited to toddlers.

Facilities and access

The playground is free and open during Jurong Lake Gardens hours. There are shaded seating areas nearby for parents. The nearest toilets and changing facilities are a short walk away near the Grasslands area.

Forest Ramble is located about a 15-minute walk from Lakeside MRT station. Jurong East MRT is also accessible via a connecting bus or a longer walk through the gardens.

Nearby features

The water-play area at Clusia Cove is a short walk from Forest Ramble, making it easy to combine both in one visit. The Grasslands open lawn is adjacent for picnics and free play.

Before you go

Forest Ramble has no height or age restrictions, but adult supervision is recommended for younger children. The playground can get busy on weekends and public holidays. Morning visits are generally quieter.
