About Clusia Cove

Clusia Cove is a free water-play area at Jurong Lake Gardens. It is designed for young children to cool off safely in a natural-inspired setting. The name comes from the Clusia plant, a coastal shrub native to Singapore.

The play area uses shallow water jets that spray from the ground in random patterns. There are no deep pools or slides. Everything is at ground level, making it safe for toddlers with supervision.

What to expect

  • Water jets: Low-pressure jets spray water in sequences. Children can run through them, jump over them, or simply stand and cool off.
  • Sensory play: The jets create different spray patterns that encourage exploration. Good for toddlers and preschoolers developing motor skills.
  • Natural setting: The play area is surrounded by Clusia shrubs and coastal plants, with shaded seating nearby for parents.
  • Crowds: Mornings are the quietest time. Weekends from 10am to 2pm are busiest. Expect the area to be full during school holidays.

The water jets operate on a timer cycle. They run for a few minutes, pause, then restart. This means the area is never fully flooded and puddles drain quickly between cycles.
